As a reminder, here are the questions you need to answer:

1.  What is your initial reaction to the article or topic posted this week?    (5 pts.)

2.  What do you think the author of the article was trying to convey?  Did he or she seem to have an opinion?  (5 pts.)

3.  If you met the author of the article face-to-face, what would you say to him or her in response?  (5 pts.)

4.  Was there a word in the article that you didn’t know?  If so, what was it, and what is its definition?  If not, to what grade level reader would you recommend this article?  (5 pts.)

5.  Pretend it is your job to bring the number of readers of this article to 100,000, and you decide to post a link to it on Twitter.  How would you hashtag your tweet to ensure that the right readers find it?  Explain why you picked what you picked!  (5 pts.)

6.  What is one thing that you felt you understood very well in class this week?  (5 pts.)

7.  What is one thing we have covered in class with which you feel you could use more help?  (5 pts.)

Prompt for 9/16/14 – 9/24/14: Project Time!

Math 2:  In place of your blog post due on September 24, you will complete the Calling All Superheroes project that will be handed out in class on September 15.

Honors Math 3:  The link to your project is below!  In place of reading an article, you will work in groups to complete this linear programming project and upload each part to your blog.  Your post will only need to be posted on one group member’s blog, but you will need to upload clear pictures of all your work as well as the video containing your commercial.  Let me know if you have any questions!
